The Larping Tombstone's "Larping the Rooms (Remix)" holds #1 for a second week on 1.30M, its third week at the top overall. Its gain has now fallen three weeks running from 1.53M, shedding another 97K from last week's 1.39M. It stayed there because Kome's "Aeropickles" barely moved, going from 1.16M to 1.15M. The gap has narrowed for a fourth straight week, from 233K to 143K, with four weeks of eligibility left for the leader and three for "Aeropickles".
Something's off with my Vocaloid's "Exorcist" is #3 on 963K, back up from 866K a week earlier and climbing for a fourth straight week since it entered at #17, a new peak. Snappydoodle's "Toxic Gossip Train" went the other way, losing more than a fifth of its gain from 919K to 673K and slipping from #3 to #6. AnythingBecomeMoe took #5 with "LIVE QNA BAR", which grew 3.6x from 189K in its first week to 685K and rose nine places from #14.
Three debuts reached the top ten, after none did last week, and all three came out of The VOCALOID Collection 2026 Summer, held August 20-24. Tokyo Manaka's "FOMO" led them at #4 on 720K, followed by avogado6's "Debit Bit" at #8 on 493K and Yamamoto's "Kasane Teto vs Dump Car" at #10 on 475K. Those first two also placed 4th and 6th in the event's TOP100 division on Niconico, and the whole top six of that division is here as well: OSTER project's division-winning "Music Goes On" at #23 on 177K, Sohbana's runner-up "Koi" at #53 on 85K, GYARI's third-placed "Omurice Tsukuritai na" at #22 on 183K, and Natsuyama Yotsugi's fifth-placed "The World's Last Band" at #71 on 59K, the same songs in a different order on YouTube. Among returning songs, VNaneP's "NO CONTROL" jumped from 16K to 415K and from #120 to #11, while DJ KOO's "HamPacino Kin... (DJ KOO CANDY... REMIX)" collapsed from 343K to 8,385 and from #8 to #246.
197 songs entered the ranking this week, a record of its own. The previous high, 169, also came in a VOCALOID Collection week last summer, and the next-highest, 159, came in this winter's: the top of that list sits around the event every time. This edition drew more than 7,200 entries across five days, and two more division winners landed here, namigroove's remix winner "De Los Santos (namigroove remix)" at #41 on 119K and Door no Knob's rookie winner "Anata no Kioku" at #160 on 19K. Two songs went OUT: Yoshimoto Ojisan's "MACHI APP PRINCESS" (peak #6) and Masarada's "kanke girl" (peak #10), both finishing their 12 weeks. A total of 1,117 songs were tallied, breaking the record of 1,014 set a week ago. "Aeropickles" has closed to within reach of the top, with three weeks left to get there.
