About This Site

LocalVoid | VOCALOID SONGS CHART

Site Introduction

LocalVoid (lvchart.com) is a weekly VOCALOID song ranking chart based on YouTube performance. Rankings are determined by each song's weekly increase in YouTube view count, tracked continuously every week since December 2022 — over 190 weeks of data. Every charted song (7,600+ so far) has its own page with full rank history, and the whole site is available in both Japanese and English.

We built this site through ongoing effort to help you answer questions like:

"What songs are popular this week?"
"How much did that song grow compared to last week?"

Key Pages

  • Latest weekly chart — this week's VOCALOID ranking
  • Archive — every week since December 2022 (weekly URLs look like lvchart.com/en/weekly/2026-7-3/)
  • Song Directory — rank-history pages for every charted song, by debut month
  • Hall of Fame — every song that reached #1
  • 日本語版 — Japanese version

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How are rankings determined?
By each song's weekly YouTube view-count increase — how much its views grew during the week, not its cumulative view total.

Q. When is the chart updated?
Once a week, with the latest week's ranking.

Q. Can I see past rankings?
Yes — every week since Week 1 of December 2022 is available in the archive.

Q. Can I see a song's rank history?
Every charted song has its own page with a week-by-week rank graph, peak position, weeks on chart, and view gains. Find songs via the Song Directory or the site search bar at the top of the page.

Q. Can I listen to songs on the site?
Yes — add songs to the play queue with the "+" button and they play back-to-back without leaving the site. See "Play Queue" below.

Q. Which songs are eligible?
Songs primarily sung by voice synthesizers — VOCALOID, UTAU, CeVIO, Synthesizer V, and similar. See the full rules below.

Play Queue (Built-in Player)

LocalVoid is not just a chart to read — it's one you can listen to. Add any song to the queue with the "+" button on its card and it plays in the on-page YouTube player at the bottom of the screen, so you can listen through the week's Vocaloid songs while browsing the ranking.

  • Add songs one at a time from the "+" strip on each card, or several at once with selection mode.
  • Shuffle, repeat, and drag-and-drop reordering are supported.
  • Playback continues while you move between weeks or open song pages.
  • Your queue can also be opened as a YouTube playlist via "Open in YouTube".

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame page is a dedicated archive celebrating every song that has reached #1 on LocalVoid's weekly Vocaloid ranking chart. Since the ranking began in December 2022, you can explore the glorious history of all chart-topping tracks.

  • Grouped by Weeks at #1: Songs are categorized by their total weeks at the top (maximum 12 weeks).
  • Full Track Details: Displays the thumbnail, title, and artist information for every song.
  • "NEW" Badge: Displayed for songs that reached #1 within the last 6 weeks.
  • Direct Access: Click to watch the song directly on YouTube.

Community Picks

"Community Picks" is a section that automatically collects and displays recommended songs shared by community members on LocalVoid's Discord server. Updated weekly, you can enjoy songs that real Vocaloid fans are currently listening to and recommending.

  • Discord Integration: Showcasing songs shared in the "song-sharing" channels on the LocalVoid Discord server.
  • Regular Updates: Links shared within the past week are collected and updated every Monday at 0:00 (JST).
  • Instant Viewing: Click thumbnails to watch the songs on YouTube.
  • Join the Community: Click the Discord icon to join our community and share your own favorites.

Rules

  • We track songs that are primarily sung by Vocaloid, or those co-sung by Vocaloid and human vocalists.
Note: "Vocaloid" is used as an umbrella term for all voice synthesis software, including VOCALOID, UTAU, CeVio, and SynthesizerV.
  • Rankings are based on the amount of growth in YouTube views.
  • Songs can only remain on the chart for a maximum of 12 weeks.
  • If a song is still in the TOP 100 after 12 weeks on the chart, it will be featured as 'OUT' the following week.
  • Even if it is not an original Vocaloid song, if the producer has made a Vocaloid version, it will be included in the ranking (Project SEKAI, HoneyWorks, etc.).
  • New arrangements of existing songs, and remakes released with a new music video, will also be included in the ranking.

About the Data

  • We use the YouTube Data API v3 to obtain accurate data.
  • We have continuously accumulated data for over 190 weeks since December 2022.
  • The ranking is updated regularly every week.
